Our Mission
Since the firm was founded in 1994, Jerusalem Global's goal has been to support private Israeli technology initiatives and to generate superior returns to investors. Our History Jerusalem Global has a fourteen year history of spotting technology winners and funding exceptional
entrepreneurs. Investment Criteria The investment approach of JGV I was to fund exceptional entrepreneurs and secure a large share in portfolio companies. The Growth Equity Fund will invest in Israeli technology companies that have a proven business model and are on a trajectory to IPO within three years. In both funds, quality people are the primary consideration. Transaction Size In JGV I, the early-stage 1999 Fund, the investment range was $2-7 million. In The Growth Equity Fund, the investment range is $5-20 million. Jerusalem Global is comfortable as either the sole investor or investing with others. It has enjoyed success with both approaches. Our Team Our Senior Partners have deep technology and operating experience in addition to their investment backgrounds. Dr. Linde, for example, founded and sold two major technology companies. In 2007, Dr. Kalish was the only Israeli in the Top 50 of the Forbes Midas list. Our Network Over the last two decades, the partners of Jerusalem Global Ventures have developed strong ties with the top Israeli entrepreneurs and visionaries enabling JGV to invest in the best of Israel's entrepreneurs and help our portfolio companies build winning management teams. |
