Kashya Ltd. Announces First Round of Funding from Leading US and Israeli Investors

July 1, 2001: Ramat Gan based start up Kashya announced today that Battery Ventures and Jerusalem Global Ventures have invested $3 million.

Kashya is developing next generation technology for storage communications. Their mission is to be the enabler and market leader of effective remote storage by extending the functionality of local storage to the world of WAN distributed storage.

Micah Avni, partner at Jerusalem Global Ventures, remarked: "Kashya's vision and unique technologies will revolutionize storage over the WAN. We are excited to be working with such a talented and vibrant group of entrepreneurs."
