Ranan Grobman

Ranan has served as a general partner of Jerusalem Global Ventures since 2008 and has held different capacities of investment management and investment banking with Jerusalem Global since joining 1999. Some of these activities include: heading investment banking activities in Jerusalem Global’s spin-off, Yazam.com, management positions in portfolio companies such as Certagon, leading investments and sitting on boards of several of its portfolio companies. He has served as Managing Partner at Vaizra Investments since 2010, co-leading investment activity with Shlomo in Israel.

Some of Ranan’s investments include: Altair Semiconductor (sold to Sony), Face.com (sold to Facebook), Primesense (sold to Apple), SolarEdge (NASDAQ: SEDG), Macrocure (NASDAQ: MCUR), Quiet Therapeutics, and StorONE.

Ranan started his career as one of the first employees at software trading platform vendor Tradeum (sold to VerticalNet), and founded free space optics company, Roqiya Networks.
