Shlomo Caine
Shlomo is a prominent technology investor in Israel. Before retiring from Intel in 2007 and becoming an independent consultant to the company, Shlomo Caine was the CEO of Intel Capital, Intel's investment arm in Israel. Shlomo began his career at Tadiran and in 1982 joined the inaugural team of Intel's first plant outside the U.S; FAB 8 in Jerusalem. In 1994, Shlomo was appointed to head the start-up of Intel's FAB 14 in Ireland and in 1999 he began directing Intel's Venture Capital fund in Israel. In 2002, Shlomo began leading Intel’s investments in Western Europe and in 2004 he became responsible for Intel’s venture capital investments in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Israel. Shlomo is the most recent recipient of the Israeli Venture Association (IVA) High-Tech Award.

Mr. Caine hold a BA in Physics and Mathematics, an M.Sc in Materials Science and a Business Management certificate, all fro the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
